Not a time for planning fatigue!

If you live in West Bridgford please look at this recent application on Sharphill.

It concerns the stretching from the current construction right across to join the top of Musters Road.

You can see it on the Rushcliffe Council planning online website. Search for reference 17/00941/OUT. You can make your own comments via the online form.

You can see detailed comments from Lib Dem Borough Councillor, Rod Jones, under the comments section. Please do not rely on what I, as a local Lib Dem Councillor have said. Make your own views heard.

You might think it doesn't matter. However it is worth at least reading the document in the application items (about 8th from the bottom) which is called 'Transport Statement'. This contains false assertions and seeks to allow any traffic from the estate to travel down Musters Road! Contrary to the previous expectations of residents and both Councils.

The County Council's position matters as they are the Statutory Highways Authority on planning applications.

There are of course other issues in this outline application - including drainage. It is odd that this is not a detailed application especially given the early need for a primary school. Also drainage is a concern for residents.

Your views matter. Silence may be interpreted as indifference or agreement.
