How I Would Serve you

Vicky is concerned about education services, particularly central governement funding cuts that leave many West Bridgford schools facing funding deficits. She supports the More than a Score campaign and is opposed to the introduction of testing for four year olds. Like many parents, she wants the 'catching up' on lost schooling to focus on childrens' well-being and emotional health, which has been impacted during the national lockdowns and echos the Children's Society view that "children are more than the sum of their grades."

Vicky would like to see more done to address the climate emergecy and would like to see planning that priorises sustainability.

"The past year has been tough on all school children.

I would like to see government, at all levels, take steps to narrow the digital divide and to prioritise children's well-being now schools are returning to whole-school face to face teaching."
