Penn Ecumenical Council Hustings

This evening Colin Ross, Liberal Democrat candidate for Wolverhampton South West attended Penn Ecumenical Council hustings at St. Michael's Church on Coalway Road in Penn. The hustings were not as well attended as others have been , which was disappointing. However, the audience participation was very high with a number of insightful questions on national and local issues as well as on moral questions.

Independent study gives thumbs up for Lib Dem plans - Robinson

West Chelmsford's Lib Dem Westminster Candidate Stephen Robinson says, "A report published today by the independent Institute of Fiscal Studies entitled "Proposed Tax and Benefit Changes: Winners and losers in the next term", says that 70% of households would be best off under Liberal Democrat plans, compared to those of Conservative and Labour parties."
