A Friends of the Earth on-line poll today puts the Liberal Democrats far ahead of the other main parties in caring about climate change. Asked 'which of the three main parties cares most about climate change?', nearly 83 per cent of the respondents named the Liberal Democrats. David Cameron's Tories have leaped to the aid of a faltering Prime Minister. Reform and improvement of our education system are vital. But these proposals are rushed, poorly thought out and ill judged. The Prime Minister is in a hurry to create a legacy but risks leaving our public services in disarray.
